AUTHOR & PUNISHER 2019 STAGE BANNERS

In the spring of 2019 I was asked by my good friend Tristan Shone of Author & Punisher to design his stage backdrop for his upcoming summer tour. He wanted three 3x10ft banners, each one being a figure in a similar aesthetic to the Women & Children album cover I had done for him previously. Drawing influence from the anti-fascist themes of Author & Punisher I came up with what I considered the best commissioned piece I had done yet. Enjoy.

I had the pleasure of hanging out with him backstage and catching his set at the Teragram Ballroom here in Los Angeles. WHOA. Loudest and most “punishing” (yeah, I did it) set I’ve ever seen of his. He brought his own subwoofers along with him to add to the house PA and it almost made me faint. Thank you Tristan.
