Scott McPherson, born June 2nd, 1985, is a musician and visual artist born and raised in northeast Kansas. In 2004 he moved to Lawrence, KS where he began to attend the School of Fine Arts at the University of Kansas. In 2006 he wrote and recorded guitars for the EP 'Infernal Rise' by Diskreet, which would later be coined 'Best New Band in Death Metal' of 2007 by Kerrang! magazine. After experiencing international and national live touring he left Diskreet in 2008 to per sue other projects. After focusing on visual art for the next few years, and showing work in several area galleries, he received a BFA in sculpture at The University of Kansas in 2010, and the 2010 Richard & Gertrude Hollander Family Foundation Grant.
He now lives in San Diego, CA where he is working on a new performance project, creating visual art, and co-running Monolithic Merchandise.
